Silvia L. Delamar Attorney
Managing Member

 

With more than 15 years experience as a corporate executive and small business owner, Silvia Delamar represents companies and individuals in civil disputes, criminal and other enforcement investigations, and general litigation matters. Placing special emphasis on small business development, partnership agreements, contract negotiation and disputes, Silvia can be trusted to handle your legal matters.  

 

Skilled in arbitrations and mediations, Silvia regularly counsels small businesses in employment matters, including reductions in force, employee terminations, wage and hour disputes, independent contractors, and change management.  She is able to serve as general counsel to your small business. 

 

Prior to entering the field of law, Silvia spent several years working in higher education administration and legal compliance.  She is a member of the Georiga Bar Association, Gate City Bar Association, and Georgia Bar Association of Women Attorneys.

Linda A. Martin
Paralegal

 

Having been with the Delamar Firm since its inception, Linda works in the areas of criminal, civil and real estate law.  With more than 20 years in the legal field, she serves as the firm's paralegal and case intake coordinator.  As a seasoned professional, Linda continues to expand her knowledge and experience through research and seminars.

Gwendolyn M. Shands
Senior Investigator

 

As a retired police lieutenant who spent several years as an undercover Narcotics Agent, Gwendolyn Shands specializes in criminal and civil investigations.

A native Detroiter, Ms. Shands spent 20 years of her career with The City of Detroit Police Department. During her tenure with the department she was awarded several awards and citations for her outstanding work.

 

Ms. Shands is an expert in background investigations and Criminal and Civil Investigations, Executive Protection Details, and Safety and Security Assessments. She also served as an Executive Protection Officer for the Mayor of the City of Detroit before retiring.
